I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was really nice and today the sun is shining. I finished those frames I was working on. This is what I ended up with. I think I'm going to try to find a skeleton key to mount in the white frame. The little frame will be changed out with the seasons. I seem to be on a Valentine's Day kick lately. I'm not sure where I'll put them yet, most likely will wait to put them in our Everything Room.
I also wanted to show off something my mom made. When we were working on Hailey's room I put up this art line for her pictures. They were taking over my fridge and I figured she would want to enjoy some of her creations in her own space. My mom painted little bunny clothespins for me to put on there. Aren't they cute? She is really great at painting in miniature.
Hailey has a slight bunny theme going in her room. She has a stuffed bunny she received as a gift when she was a year old and that is her security object. She calls it "B" and she doesn't sleep without it.
Here's a close up so you can see the little bunny and hearts...

Love the frames, and the bunny line is too cute. A couple of years ago I painted my son's room and had it looking so nice. Later when I went in there, he had a million posters NAILED to his wall, so many you can't even see my paint job. I so wish I had put something like this up in his room.

Lucky, lucky - all of you! My poor old fingers have too much arthritis in them to do anything this detailed and small. Wonderful job!!!!!!
Hi Michelle,
I found your blog through the RMS site on HGTV. You have inspired me so much in just over a week! I LOVE your kitchen and was so impressed I painted my cabinets the same color (imitation is the best form of flattery!)Anyway, I really enjoy visiting your blog and seeing what you come up with. So creative. I'd love to see what you have done with your sons room, too. I have two boys myself and am fresh out of ideas ...
Thank you for inspiring me!

Michelle,
I'm not very good at this blog thing yet so I'm probably replying the wrong way ... heck no, I don't have pictures on RMS. I'm too afraid to do that! I'd be mortified if I got bad comments. I do have before/after pictures but I don't know how to attach them to show you ...??? What color are your walls? I currently have "Flour Sack White" but each time I've touched up spots I get diff. shades of the paint mixed. Heaven forbid I would have prepared and bought a gallon! So .. I need to change the color of my walls again.
I just love your blog...just discovered it and had such fun seeing all your improvements on a thrifty dollar. I can see we have quite a bit in common. I love to do paper crafts as well and have just posted some of my Valentine crafts. If you don't mind I have added you to my blog roll. cherry
