Speaking of wallpaper...

This is how far we've gotten in the powder room. I was so excited to see the wallpaper going up. The winner was this damask, a bit different than the one I talked about HERE . The reason it looks a bit splotchy is because I didn't wait until it dried to take a pic. Impatience should be my middle name.

Of course I had to lay down a sheet of floor tile to see how it looked. I'm giddy over the way this is going to come out. Oh and in case you were wondering, wallpaper paste does not feel good falling in your ear. Just saying.

What's left to do? Order more wallpaper because we ran out (ugh), put up crown and window moulding, lay down the tile and put the fixtures in. It's getting there.....

My sweet hubby took me to see this on opening night.....

The threat of major snow and a theater packed full of young girls whistling every time Channing had his shirt off. Yup, my hubby sure is a good sport. I think I owe him a trip to some crazy, bloody action flick after this one.

I hadn't read the book first so the movie was different than what I expected. Good though, I recommend you go with your sweetie for a date night to see it too (or drag by the shirt, you know, whatever works).

But now I have to go because I'm halfway through this and completely engrossed.....

Yup, I'm a little late to the party as usual but I'm loving it.

I'm a sucker for a good love story if you couldn't tell.

Romantic comedies are my fave---it's the romance in anything that gets me...
Am lovin' the paper and tile choice.
Oh, what beauty and wonder awaits!

Our own lovely powder room is in need of an uplift---considered paper, but I hate papering around the sink and toilet...

I love the wallpaper! I'm so jealous of that tile. I want it bad.

I love all of Spark's books, but I haven't read that one yet. It looks even more sad than his others.

Twilight? really?? I'm not sayin' a word ;)

I love the wallpaper Michelle, what I love most about your decorating is that you do what you want and it flows in your old house, I love it!! I want to see that movie..but I highly doubt the pool man will go! I forsee a rental one lonely night...probably better that way!

Hi Michelle,
I'm so glad to be back here! Somehow or other I had lost you on my blog list, but now I'm back and all updated :) Thanks for signing up to my blog and now I am again happily following yours. I'm curious about Twilight- so many of my friends adore the series, but I have yet to read it myself. I have to see your thoughts... have a sparkly day, TJ

We just got done tiling the kids bathroom with the same hexagon tile. I LOVE it! I do have to admit though, when my husband first opened the box of tiles, I was a little surprised to see how small the tiles were. I guess I was expecting them to be two inch tiles, and the tile we ordered was one inch. I am so glad we "accidentally" ordered the one inch tile, though, cause I think it looks really nice! Can't wait to see how your bathroom turns out. It's going to be lovely. :)

The bathroom is going to be fabulous, can't wait to see the finished project. I love your blog thank you for the inspiration. I was late reading the Twilight books too. I loved them. Don't be surprised if it takes a lot longer to finish your project because you cannot set those books down. My husband was starting to wonder if I had another man in my life--hee hee!

Oh- I "drug" my husband to see this one too - but I loved it. I can't say the same for him but he was a good sport. We both laughed as we exited the theatre and the man in front of us turned to his girlfriend and said "Well, that was a wasted two hours" - men.

I love your wallpaper - absolutely beautiful - it is gonna be a great transformation - 'cause everything you do is wonderful! Cathy

I love that wallpaper. Could you tell me where you found it? I've been on the lookout at Lowes, etc, but have not found any that I really like. I want it to line my armoire, so don't want to spend a fortune.

Thank you so much. Love your home...and the Twilight books rock!
