The bathroom is all done and on a budget. I kept track of what I spent and the total came to $144. Not bad for a whole new look. Since I was just painting and redecorating, it was cheap and quick! First I'll show you the pics, and then we'll have a nice laugh at my expense. Sound fun?
So remember what we started with? I kept all the ugly features as planned, pink sink and all! BEFORE:

I say, to fix the "oopsY' just add some delicate, muted pink ish trim ribbon to it and then it will help pull in the top pinkish counter-if you can't get rid of it-you may as work with it :).

That looks fantastic!! What about adding a strip of fabric to both sides? You could place the one on the other side ON TOP of the fabric, and then to the edge of this side that's too short.
That is UNBELIEVABLE! You go girl! I am totally inspired by you and that amazing transformation! And I love every detail, but that soap dispenser in the little frenchy opalescent glass is just darling. You should be so so proud.

I love the way you did your towels on the hooks like that. I was planning on replacing our cheapo builders stardard towel bars with oil rubbed bronze ones, but you have inspired me to use what we have first. My husband has some old scraps of boards out in the garage leftover from another project and I think that I will paint one and distress it and add hooks, just like yours. I hope that when we move, I could see you for more home ideas because I'm sure we cannot afford to buy a new house. I presume the old ones are cheaper and this would mean we have a lot of renovations to make.

OK, one that is incredible that you did all that for that amount of money! Way to go!!!! second, I love your blog and added you to my fav's on my blog.. And last.. Just add some ribbon to both sides of the skirt.. wide ribbon. It won't matter that it is not covering anything on the "right" side, but the short side will be covered up and no one will know it! Hope that helps. Great job again!

I love this, in fact I am inspired to change my bathroom around and maybe add some Toile because of your inspiration photo. Hey I have two suggestions for your skirt situation around the sink. Why not add Toile trim around the outside of the white fabric giving you some more material to work with just on the edge....or why not get some Toile fabric when the budget allows (Joann's fabric has black cotton Toile-regular cotton not Home decor fabric) and make another sink skirt...one similar to your photo. It runs around 5-6 dollars a yard...with an online coupon you print off you could save alot and maybe get it for under 10.00. Just type in Joann's coupon in google, it should take you where you want. I do it alot. Love your post.

The transformation is absolutely stunning. I love all the changes, and the all white is so fresh and crisp. Just add a band of white to the vanity skirt on each side, or add a very pale pink and white print and you're done. Easy as pie. Hugs, Marty

Wow, such a great change. I'm glad you posted to Met Monday because from there I found your blog and great re-do. I've had many fabric bloopers too, what if you added an accent trim piece to the sides to make it wider? You could use a black or black and white accent piece, or another tone on tone white, just an idea, and you wouldn't have to get too much fabric either. I really like the way you have accessorized too. Now I'm off to check out other ideas on your blog. Thanks

Wow!! Great job. It's really exceptional since you did it on a budget. Your pleats in the sink skirt could be made a bit more shallow and I thing that might give you enough fabric to go the whole way back to the wall.

The room is great. To fix the skirt-do you have any toile from the window treatment? If you do cut the skirt and remake using the toile as the inset for the pleat. Hope this helps.
