I can't get enough of fall....the smell of the air, pumpkins, mums adorning porch steps. It's my favorite season and I've been trying to bring that feeling inside the house. Fun decorations for the kids and some natural touches for me....
I bought these cute number flashcards on Etsy, such a fun way to mark the date for upcoming holidays...
I did do an antiquing to the blue door with some watered down brown paint. A simple change and I love it now! I really think the door is going to work with the room. I'm not sure it will show up in the pictures but the antiquing toned the color down, it's so much calmer now....
That poor wreath needs some help....I swear it didn't look that smooshed last fall.
What's your favorite part about fall? Apple cider, pumpkin picking, beautiful mums.....or maybe it's the candy on Halloween? Yup, I think that just might be my favorite part, raiding the kids' candy buckets. How about you?

I'm very jealous of all of you decorations, I'm scared to bring everything out b/c we're in the midst of torn up floors and I don't feel like prettying up the place in disarray. I SO badly want to put decorations out. I'm hoping our floors can be put in and done in the next 2 weeks. (crossing fingers)
At least I can look at your pretty home.
By the way, I absolutely love the door!
LOVE the white pumpkins in the white basket!! Looking good...and YES, I love fall!!!
Suzanne
OH they look SO CUTE! I love the pennant flags with the "spooky" ....I might have to copy ya ;) Very very cute.
Wow! Looks great. We are going into Spring here in Australia, and we don't celebrate Halloween, so I am enjoying what all my blogging friends are doing! Did you decide on your blue door? I couldn't see anywhere if you had made a decision :)
Hi Michelle...
Ohhh...I'm so glad to see that you kept your pretty blue door!!! I was thinking that doing an antiquing glaze over the top might do the trick...it's looks gorgeous, my friend!!!
I love, love, LOVE Autumn!!! It's my favorite season! Love the cooler temps, the rich vibrant colors, and those titilating textures!!! Your home is so beautiful all dressed up in its fall finery!!! You have seemed to satisfy young and old with your pretty decorations! I love how you accessorized the pretty white dresser...lovely!!! And I love your tiered plates of white pumpkins...beautiful!!! Yes, I love fall....but I love your house more! I come drool every night :o) Where did you find those itty bitty pumpkins in the apothecary jars? And those white pumpkins on your table are simply divine...
I love everything that you have done for Halloween and fall! Every. little. detail. Amazing!
love your decorations! Everything looks beautiful! I need to get some of those small white pumpkins! BTW...are you using an old dresser for an island? It looks really neat. Let me know~ I want to put an island in our kitchen but it's too small for a conventional size one so I'm looking for ideas. I also like the one in your sidebar w/ the curtain. Love your house!

I love fall because it means **CHRISTMAS** is just around the corner!! Your place looks so inviting!

I just put out my fall decorations, too! I wish they could stay out for a few months before I have to get out the Christmas tree.
You did a fabulous job decorating, I love all the little touches and all those white pumpkins in your basket!! AND....dun dun dun, the door looks FAB!

Your decorations are so pretty. I love all the white pumpkins.
I AM getting my stuff out this weekend!
My favorite thing is that being outside in Florida is finally tolerable!
I LOVE your decorations and your door turned out wonderfully! Glad with the antiquing you love it now. I don't know if I can pick just one or two things I love about fall....I absolutely LOVE everything. The cool crisp air, the fall colors, pumpkins, decorations, apple cider...........
Great decorations! (Love the little "spell" flags!) And the blue door does look remarkably transformed with a little antiquing- now it's a nice pop, not a scene stealer.
I have a love/hate relationship with fall. Me and winter, we don't get along so well (and yet I have lived in MA my whole life, go figure...) So as a harbinger of cold, I hate it. But I can't help but be enchanted by autumn itself! The smell, the colors, the lo-o-o-ong sunsets, all the dramatic change... and there's no better excuse for hot, spiced, (and spiked) cider! YUM!
- Meg
Your fall decorations are so tasteful, fun, and beautiful! Love the white pumpkins. The aqua door looks great with the antiquing. You did a wonderful job with everything. -Jackie
I love the grouping of the white pumpkins together, it looks so fresh!
My favorite part of autumn is the cool crisp nights watching high school football under blankets drinking hot cocoa.
Oh I love your fall decor. Will you please come post it to the Celebrate the Holidays party on Wed.
I love your cat and pumpkin ornaments. Did you make them? If so where did you get the thick pipe cleaners or is it just 2. I have some Santas that I bought from a craft show.
Cheri
everything looks fantastic! Glad I stopped by! chris
what cute halloween decorations!! I just love that chalkboard door! Kristen
Oh yes, I do love fall! And I love all of your decorations! :0 I haven't finished my fall decorating yet. I'm not sure what is up with me this year. Usually I have all my decorating done the first day of the month, or before September is even over. But for some reason, I have been hesitant to do anything or buy anything new this year. I think I am starting to feel the need to get it done now, though!! This week! Happy fall!! :) Beth.
great photo's michelle...
lovin it all.
xo
I love Fall, it's my most favorite season. And I am loving your decorations. I love, love, love when it's apple cider time!

We have so the same style. My chalkboard door is exactly like yours, even down to the molding around the chalkboard panel.
Beautiful! I especially love your banners! You have inspired me!
