Goings On....

It was a busy end of summer over here....getting our new camper set up, preparing for back to school and then I got hit with a nasty ear infection. It's never boring around here, that's for sure.

I tried to get some super cute pictures before the first day of school by the flowers and porch. You can see how that went.....

How's that sunshine today kids??

Oh well, at least it was a nice day out even if I didn't get the "perfect" back to school pic.

In other news, this little boy is 4 today! I know us moms are always asking where the time goes but really....tell me where it went?! Next week he starts preschool, I'm bracing myself for that day. I should go and stock up on tissues now.

Happy Birthday to my silly boy....

I've been a bit uninspired here recently. We started a couple little home projects while my husband was on vacation but they aren't even finished yet. *sigh* I've been in a decorating slump but I'm feeling it start to lift. Now that school is back and we're in a routine again, the "To Do" list is forming in my head.

Fall is my favorite time of year and I plan on making good use of it! I hope to have some completed projects to show you soon.

Ahhh sweet sunshine in their cute little faces! They are all darlings. My niece just started her little boy to kindergarten and had a tough time but is enjoying the extra time to herself now that she is used to it:) Have a blessed day!

When my girls were in school, we took the obligatory first day of school picture. It's fun to go back and see how the fashions and hair styles changed through the years.

Cutie pies!

I'm in the same funk around the house but also feel it lifting. Maybe it's just something about August that does it to everyone. :) Fall is just around the corner...yay!

Happy birthday to your little boy!! Our daughter has a birthday this week, too. Seven years old! Yes, they do grow so fast, don't they?
I think the kids back to school pictures are so cute!! Hope they have a great school year.
Fall is such a great season, isn't it? Can't wait to get to the decorating. It's just about time to make the annual trip to the pumpkin patch. I'm so excited!!
Hope you get your decorating mojo back real soon. And don't go getting any more infections! :) Beth.

you really want to know where the time goes? it might scare you, but the best i can figure out, you go to bed one night and when you wake up they are GROWN! i know, because it happened to me 5 times. i don't plan on sleeping anymore because it's happening now to my grandchildren and i refuse to let it!

I would visit your blog more often if not for the music. It makes me jump every time it comes on. Would you consider calming down the place? :)

Thanks for stopping in.
Ohh I love the sunshine pictures of the kids! That's too much fun.
Yes- I do use stretch minima. I used to have a 3 column blog was but was not capable of using larger pictures (too technical for me) although I've heard it can be done. So I came down to two columns and now I can make my pictures larger. Easy as pie..as a matter of fact I read the how to on BNOTP.

Beautiful family!
And Happy Birthday to your boy!
Enjoy!

And that's the way the home projects seem to go, with great gusto for awhile, and then the lull for awhile.
Enjoy the 'down' time!
And I hope you're feeling better!
All the best,
Eileen

Hi Michelle :)

Those pictures are still cute, even with the sun in their eyes. Happy back to school for you and Happy Birthday to your sweet boy :)

Paint sealer?? ...hmmm... I'll have to look into that. We've been working on the outside AND the kitchen so it's going slower than I thought. Painting the cabinets isn't hard, but it's time consuming... ugh.

I hope you're feeling better!!

Hi Michelle, your children are so darling, i completely understand on how quickly they grow up, we just sent our oldest off to college...TOTALLY UNBELIEVEABLE. I have been in a decor slump too, then again time and budget is at a limit at the moment. So i figured its a good time to do some organizing and cleaning out, a nice way of saying i need to put my house back together now that the girls have returned to school. Wish your little sweetie a happy 4th, its always hard when its the baby, my baby is going on 16 and she is still the baby..lol
