I've had so many positive comments on my sheet music cabinet that I decided to try the same technique with this bookshelf. I love how it turned out, old pages give everything such a warm feeling.
I'm selling this piece....as much as I enjoy making over furniture, my house is full! If you are a local reader and interested, email me at brosequilts(at)yahoo.com
Do you have a favorite piece that you've done? I love before and afters, leave a link in the comments so I can see your fave redos!

Very cute, if I lived near by I would be there to pick it up (;
Lovely - too bad I don't live close by! I love using sheet music, too.

It looks fabulous. What a great idea. Hugs, Marty
I just recently bought some sheet music to create with! I will let you know if it is worthy to share:) Have a blessed day, HUGS!
I keep seeing this idea floating around blogland. May need to satisfy my curiousity and give it a try....

I LOVE this project!! Looks fantastic~!

That turned out GREAT!
I'd be all over that if I lived closer! I really like the use of the old sheet music. A local "home and gift" store has been using it for packing and decorating by putting it through a shredder and using all the little pieces.

I love sheet music. I do lots of redo's but I adore doing chairs and dressers..here is a current link but take a look around the blog to see more, including the building of my booth with decopaged dictionary pages...

This is fantastic!!! I have an old, ugly, dinged up dark brown bookcase that will soon be getting this treatment, thanks so much for sharing.

Wow! Michelle this is really pretty. I really love the idea of using old sheet music. There is something about it that is just so classic and timeless. Gorgeous!
Thank you for your kind words on my weight loss! Oh yes I was shaking in my shoes posting my before photos. Eeeek! I'm over it now since I do agree it was important to show the difference. I am so grateful to be healthy again and loving life. I really appreciate your support this past year my friend.
Happy Fall! ~Melissa :)
Love this! I did something similar with drawers turned to shelving, here...http://makethebestofthings.blogspot.com/2010/08/3-drawer-upcycle-project.html
Great ideal, and something that I might try. Thanks for sharing.

I did sit and stay while! I love your home...you have a great eye.
What a fun idea this shelf is. I will have to try that one.
i like your music sheet cabinet, i think you have done a wonderful job restoring it, looks really good in the end, music sheets look very good peeking from behind things and add a touch of jazz too along with storage
Oh that is just awesome!
Cool idea...been noticing alot with old sheet music as well. I was just in a store last weekend that had decorated one wall with pages from old hymnals...it looked really cool!
I was just playing around with the idea of using sheet music as wallpaper and I love this as a less-commitment alternative. This looks wonderful!
I love this idea! I'm redoing an old antique child's wardrobe and wanted to do something with the inside back wall and this is a neat idea! HMMMM!!
