It's been a while....

Photos: Country Living

I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. Life has been busy since school started and I've cut my computer time way down. I think we all know how it feels to want to unplug a bit and take a step back from blogging.

I intended to do a post with pictures of our fall decorations BUT then I found out our home will be featured on the Holiday House Tour this year and, well...fall is over inside these walls. I have about 3/4 of our Christmas decorations out and orange and browns have become a fading memory already. I'm so honored that we will be on the tour but nervous too! Just hoping our cozy, little home can hold its own on the tour. If you are a local reader, the date is December 11th and the proceeds benefit our Center for the Arts.

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?

What is your favorite way to make your home feel festive for the season?

P.S. ~ That sheet music bookshelf ended up finding a home right here, I just couldn't part with it. :)

Yay!! So excited to see a new post!

Congrats on making into the Holiday House Tour. You deserve it!!

And I do know how it feels to want to take a step back from blogging. I don't blog nearly as much as I used to. I was just worried that you were joining the ranks of some of my favorite bloggers that are quitting blogging. So glad you're not!! :)

Last year, we loved your playlist so much that we listened to it Christmas morning while opening presents. By any chance, do you still have last year's playlist?

How exciting for you! I did ask myself last night "Is it too early to start to listen to Christmas music?"

Congratulations on being on the house tour...that's exciting! I would be in the Christmas mood if I started to bring out my decorations but I am hanging on to fall until Thanksgiving!

Love the beautiful, inspiring photos! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Jane

We had our first snow fall of the season today. So you can bet I'm in the Holiday spirit. I've been listen to Christmas music and dreaming about decorations.
(instead of finishing my Thanksgiving decorations)

So happy you had the time to post a little Christmas Cheer for us!

So happy to see you "back"!

I am fully into the Christmas/holiday spirit. I kind of missed out on Halloween and not much happened for fall. I'm really ready to decorate for Christmas though.

Congrats on the home tour, can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful place all decorated for the holidays.

GIRL, I am gonna fuss at you a bit for being gone SOOOOOO long! I have missed you terribly:) Happy to hear you are being busy and getting ready for Christmas. Lots of folks are already doing that but I hold out until after Thanksgiving! I have an area where I am starting to gather Christmas tubs but haven't decorated even one thing yet. Still Fall colors here at my house! Have a blessed day and don't stay gone so long! HUGS!
