Sometimes....

Sometimes it's the smallest things that bring a smile to my face....

Like a sweet tin in a perfect shade of blue....

Purchased from: Taras Vintage Kitchen

Or a mirror that is so worn you can barely see your reflection

(some mornings this is a very good thing)....

Purchased from: Ebay

Or sometimes it's a chippy old number that represents our family of five....

Purchased from: Gracies Cottage

Sometimes it isn't the expensive or showy things that speak to us.....it's the simplest of things that become treasures.

Hi Michelle
It was nice meeting you on Rue's blog! I live in an 83 year old house in Brooklyn, NY. I've lived on the same block my whole life as I bought this house 32 years ago from the one I grew up in. Old homes hold sweet memories.
Hugs, Pat
